Tegar Bahari Beach

Tegar Bahari Beach

The city of Batam clearly offers many cool water tourism destinations, like this one. This is Tegar Putri Beach, or often also called Tegar Bahari Beach.

This white sand beach is tucked away on Galang Baru Island, one of the three main islands that make up the acronym Barelang, or Batam, Rempang, and Galang.

The expanse of white sand, clear blue water and a dazzling blue sky dome are certainly enjoyable. Especially for those of you who want to go on holiday to a beach with a calm atmosphere and not crowded with visitors, while enjoying the sunset.

Because it is relatively new, namely open since the end of 2016, and is located in the very corner of the Batam administrative area, the condition of Tegar Putri Beach is still beautiful and clean from rubbish, you know.

There, you can play in the water on the beach, swim or ride a banana boat. If you just want to relax, but don’t want to be exposed to direct sunlight, please rent one of the gazebos for only IDR 50,000.

Apart from that, you can also tour other beaches that are no less beautiful, such as Galang Baru Beach and Cakang Beach which have the same coastline as Tegar Putri, as well as Viovio Beach on Galang Island.

Opposite Tegar Putri beach itself, you will see Sembur Island, a small island that is home to the Sea Tribe who have now settled on land.

So far, there is only one stall serving the beach area with a simple menu. Therefore, if you want to enjoy a complete Batam culinary tour, you have to turn to the Barelang I Bridge area.
