Pulau Batu Belah

Pulau Batu Belah

Batu Belah Island is one of the islands in the Anambas Archipelago, Riau Islands (Kepri), which could become a mandatory tourist destination. This is because Batu Belah has a natural stone arrangement that is truly amazing.

As in the case of an island that is among other islands, with the sea being its main source of life.

Batu Belah Island has very clear water, with white sand and is surrounded by rocks on the edge of the beach.

This island has a hidden waterfall, namely Tetermun Waterfall. This waterfall is so famous, because it has 17 levels, it is another charm of this island. The flow of this waterfall goes straight to the Peniting Strait which is opposite the beach.

Apart from the beautiful and exotic waterfall, there is also the Garuk River which is 250 meters from sea level and 100 meters from the bottom level.

Cultivation of Napoleon

This river will continue to flow with spring water, even though summer is underway, so this river never dries up. Batu Belah Island also has a Mangrove Estuary, with mud around it.

Because the majority of the population are fishermen, they also have a side job, namely cultivating Napoleon fish.

Apart from that, the residents also make filter cages from two layers of nylon thread with a size of 4×4 and topped with wood. Each fisherman has at least 2-3 cages.

Unfortunately, Batu Belah Island does not yet have facilities like developed tourist attractions, such as accommodation. So, tourists who want to stay on this island can stay at a resident’s house.
