Promoting the Kijang Mini Zoo, Disbudpar will collaborate with a resort
The Bintan Culture and Tourism Service (Disbudpar), is promoting Kijang Mini Zoo Park to resort and hotel entrepreneurs in the Bintan Regency area.
“We will collaborate with resort and hotel entrepreneurs regarding the promotion of the Deer Animal Park destination,” said Head of Budpar Bintan, Arief Sumarsono, recently.
The aim, said Arief, is so that foreign and domestic tourists can add tourist destination routes to the Mini Zoo in the East Bintan area.
“We will also coordinate with the management regarding the technicalities of visiting foreign tourists to the Mini Zoo,” said Arief to harikepri.com, yesterday.
His party will also provide education about tourism to Mini Zoo managers, so that in the future they can provide knowledge to visitors about animals and other animals in the park.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Bintan, Roby Kurniawan, said that the district government would continue to make improvements and add a number of animals to the Mini Zoo in the future.
This park is a green open area as well as a literacy and tourism destination for children and students in Bintan.
Currently, said Roby, the Bintan Regency Government is processing permits at the Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA) and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) to be able to bring in other animals and rare animals at the Kijang Mini Zoo.
“The mechanism is to obtain a letter of approval from BKSDA, and a recommendation from the Regent of Bintan to be forwarded to Environment and Forestry,” he concluded.
