Pering Mangrove Tourism in Natuna

Pering Mangrove Tourism in Natuna

Natuna Regency, Riau Islands (Kepri), now has a new tourist center. The object is the Pering mangrove forest which is located in Bandarsyah Village, East Bunguran Region.

Mangrove tourism in Bunguran is not the only one in Natuna. Sebelomnye, there is already mangrove tourism in Mekarjaya, Kampung Cemaga Selatan and Kampung Pengadah.

This new mangrove tourism is named Pering Mangrove because it is located in Pering region, Kampung Bandarsyah.

Unlike Mekarjaya Mangrove, Pering Mangrove is located in the middle of Natuna’s capital, Kota Ranai. Hanye takes 10 minutes to reach the location from Ranai airport, Natuna.

The Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, when inaugurating Bakau Pering said, this place is the largest and most extensive mangrove tourism center in the Riau Islands.

“The Pering Mangrove Forest has a platform length of around 1,015 meters, and was built from 2019 and completed this year,” explained Siswandi.

The development of a new tourism center that spent a budget of 2.2 billion was built using the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) from the APBN.

With the existence of mangrove tourism located not far from the capital of the district, it is hoped that it will be the main attraction for Natuna tourists in addition to the beaches and granite rock destinations.

The Pering mangrove itself is planned to be equipped with a gazebo, a villa to stay, a culinary center and some other facilities that will be provided by the tourism manager later.
