“We remain focused and try as hard as possible to improve all existing facilities, in order to increase the number of tourist visits to the Riau Islands, both domestic tourists and foreign tourists,” he said.
In order to support the potential of Mapur Island, the Governor of the Riau Islands, Ansar Ahmad, has designated a number of strategic tourism areas and tourist attractions in the Riau Islands as a guide for developing the tourism sector, one of which is the Mapur Island Ecotourism.
Governor Ansar Ahmad said the determination was aimed at advancing community welfare, equalizing business opportunities and optimizing economic potential and regional characteristics.
