Kepri Provincial Government in collaboration with flybest Aviation called the activity “Kepri Flying Adventure Tourism ” or aerospace tourism 2023 by exploring tourism from the air.

“We fully support this activity as a pillar of Kepri’s aerospace tourism,” said Acting Head of the Kepri Tourism Office, Hery Mokhrizal in Tanjungpinang, Saturday.

He mentioned that the annual international tourism event held every June is a very good momentum for Kepri Local Government to open a new window for the tourism industry, even in the world of aviation.

It is hoped that the implementation of these activities for two consecutive years can intensify the promotion of Kepri tourism more intensively.

“Kepri Flying Adventure will be a tour package that targets premium tourists with the opening of opportunities where foreign-registered private planes (such as yachts in marine tourism) fly in Indonesian territory to tourist destinations, without using commercial flights which are very
suitable for Kepri ,” said Hery.

Meanwhile, the Director of Flying Aviation, Karin Ingkan Item mentioned that Kepri Flying Adventure is an activity to introduce the world of aviation to the community, which also sells tourism from the air. ” Flying Adventure

activities are intended for lovers of the world of aviation, also introducing to the community what aviation is. At the same time, our intention is to sell Kepri tourism from the air to the world,” said Karin.

According to him, this event which has become the Kepri Provincial Government’s Calendar of Events is a step to promote the tourism potential of Kepri which stretches the ocean from Anambas, Natuna, Bintan, Batam to Lingga which should be known as Island Hops with general aviation aircraft to the international market. According to him, the plane landed in Lingga Regency.

“Aeronautical tourism is the latest tourism sector introduced in Kepri which is certainly very strategic, considering its proximity to Singapore and Malaysia,” he said. B
