Kampung Pelita Seraya Atas, Friendly for Young People Enjoying the Night in Batam City

Kampung Pelita Seraya Atas, which has been scheduled for the construction of a new road, is still witness to busy nights in Batam City. Even though they have been evicted, young people around this area find comfort and beauty when night falls.

On the edge of Jalan Yos Sudarso, they enjoyed a cup of coffee while looking at the sparkling city view, creating an atmosphere like they were at the top, Monday, October 30 2023.

They are not far from the former Kampung Pelita Seraya Atas, where other young people gathered to relax and take photos amidst the bright city night. One of them, Yudi, expressed the beauty of the place, describing it as a calming place.

“This place is amazing, the mind is calm here,” he said enthusiastically. He also revealed that the atmosphere from around 21.00 WIB until late at night was very calm and pleasant.

Coffee sellers in the area also feel the spirit of the night in the area. One of the coffee sellers, who did not want to be named, explained that this place is often visited by young people.

“There are lots of young people here, the calm atmosphere makes me feel comfortable here,” he added.

Even though Kampung Pelita Seraya Atas will soon change, the beautiful memories and togetherness of the nights in Batam city will still be remembered by the young people who like to gather there.
