Discovering Hidden Charms in Bintan: Treasure Bay Bintan
Bintan, a district which is famous for the beauty of its archipelago, has many unique and amazing tourist destinations. One that is worth visiting is Treasure Bay Bintan.
Treasure Bay Bintan was inaugurated by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on February 26 2011 in Lagoi, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province.
Located on Bintan Island, access to Treasure Bay is very easy, especially for tourists from neighboring Singapore and Malaysia.
For visitors who want to go to Natra Bintan, Treasure Bay is the right choice. Tourists can take a ferry from Punggur Batam to Bintan Resorts.
Reporting from Tribunnews.com, the ship operates every day and can dock directly at Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT) Lagoi Harbor in around 30 minutes.
In addition, tourists from Singapore’s Tanah Merah Port, Sri Bintan Pura in Tanjung Pinang, and Telaga Punggur (Batam, Indonesia) can also dock directly at BBT port. There are also daily flights from Jakarta to Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport in Tanjung Pinang.
Treasure Bay operates for around 9 hours from 09.00 to 18.00 WIB. During this time, visitors can enjoy the various facilities offered.
One of Treasure Bay’s main attractions is the largest swimming pool in Southeast Asia, Crystal Lagoon at Chill Cove.
This swimming pool has an area of around 800 meters or the equivalent of 50 Olympic swimming pools combined.
Apart from swimming, visitors can also try various rides such as paddle-boards, jetovators, or playing on giant floats.
Apart from that, there are also ATV games, football, volleyball, Rodeo Bull and two wheelers. For accommodation, Treasure Bay provides Anmon Resort Bintan which faces directly to Crystal Lagoon.
