The cruise ship that the hotel is built on is 105 years old, or two years younger than the Titanic .
It was manufactured at the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company, United States, in 1914.
Meanwhile, the Titanic was built in 1912.
Functioning as a passenger ship for the nobility as well as carrying merchandise, Doulos Phos was also tasked with delivering food and medicine during World War II.
The long history of this ship has made the name Doulos Phos inscribed in the Guinness World Records as the oldest passenger ship in the world.
Furthermore, a merchant from Singapore bought this ship in 2010. For one reason or another, the ship was finally moored at Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT) in Bintan.
