Batam Entrepreneurs Explore Investment Opportunities

Investors in Batam City are interested in investing in East Belitung Regency (Beltim). In the near future they will come to Beltim Regency to explore investment opportunities.

This was conveyed by investor representative Dato’ Amat Tantoso after meeting with Deputy Regent Beltim Khairil Anwar at the Golden Prawn 555 Restaurant, Batam City.

Many investment opportunities

The General Chair of the Indonesian Foreign Exchange Traders Association stated that from the results of his meeting, he saw many investment opportunities that could be invested in Beltim Regency, starting from the fields of tourism, transportation, shipping, fisheries and other services.

“Later, we’ll have a look first, come there, see firsthand what the potential is. We are planning the time, when we can go there, possibly in the near future,” said Amat, as quoted from the Beltim Diskominfo release received by LGB.

Amat stated that his fellow investors were not only local investors, but also from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China.

Later he can invite them to come to East Belitung Regency

“So it could only be local (Indonesian) entrepreneurs or PMA (Foreign Investment, ed ). If Mr. Kadin of Transportation (Kadin of Transportation Beltim, ed .) conveyed and asked for investment in ports,” he added

“Later we will see during our visit to Beltim, other investment opportunities , be it tourism, hotels and so on, which are interrelated with the opening of port access,” explained the hotel, retail and banking entrepreneur.

In a meeting facilitated and accompanied by Babel Community Leaders in Batam , Djohar Arief, Amat brought several investors in Batam City and Riau Islands Province.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Regent of Beltim was accompanied by Assistant III for General Administration, Haryoso, Head of the Transportation Service, Amirudin, Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service, Idwan Fikri, as well as representatives from related agencies.

“We all welcomed the results of tonight’s meeting positively. We see that the East Belitung Regency Government is now willing to pick up the ball, in this case he (Deputy Regent of Beltim, ed.) came here to invite us entrepreneurs and has conveyed several potentials for investment there ,” said Amat.
