Inspirational Tailor in Batam

Cinta Pramata (31), a woman from Padang who migrated to Batam when she was 18 years old, has proven that dreams can come true with persistence and hard work.
Before starting her business, Cinta worked at PT Nok Precision Component for two years and PT Sixmatelex Manufactury Batam. However, after getting married, he decided to stop working and focus on taking care of his children.
Gradually, Cinta opened a sewing business with initial capital of 60 million rupiah, because for her, the sewing business allowed her to remain a housewife while generating income.
“My sewing business has been going on for more than 7 years. I follow in my parents’ footsteps in sewing clothes while continuing to learn without getting tired,” said Cinta.
Cinta opens her business from 08.00 am to 21.00 pm, while holding sewing courses. The price for sewing clothes depends on the model, ranging from $12,740 SGD to $50,98 SGD.
According to Cinta, sewing clothes is not an easy thing. She must learn and imagine to meet customer needs.
“When sewing clothes, you have to have imagination because if the model doesn’t suit the customer, you definitely have to look for another model,” said Cinta.
It wasn’t always smooth sailing, in building her business, Cinta faced bitter ups and downs. Mistakes in sewing clothes and unsatisfactory models can make the customer angry, and he has to replace the material. However, Cinta also feels the sweetness of business when there are lots of customers, especially during the month of Ramadan.
Armed with perseverance and patience, Love is able to change his life. “I earned a turnover of 400 thousand in one day, with that I can own 1 house and 1 car,” she said proudly.
The success story of Cinta Pramata is an inspiration for many people to never give up in pursuing their dreams. He proves that continuous learning and hard work will produce great results.
