Murai Shop in Tarempa, Serves Black Coffee Without Dregs

Sipping coffee in the morning has become a habit of Indonesian people, especially in Anambas, Riau Islands (Kepri). Here, the coffee shop opens from 04.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB.

So, if you are visiting Tarempa, don’t miss the beautiful coffee atmosphere at Kedai Kopi Murai.

This shop is one of the favorite places on this island, which in the 1970s became a shelter for refugees from Vietnam.

Murai Coffee Shop is located at Jalan Hang Tuah 86, Tarempa. The location is not far from Tarempa Harbor.

About 5 minutes walk from the port and 10 minutes walk from the Anambas Islands Regent’s office.

Like in other shops, the mainstay of the menu is black coffee. People there call it kopi O, which means black coffee.

The coffee is strong and the aroma is very strong, but what makes it unique is that it has no grounds.

Apart from coffee and tea, there are various snacks provided there, such as arem-arem, bread, pastels, yellow rice, fried rice, fried noodles.

At this shop, visitors can also order special foods such as Tarempa fried noodles or egg fried rice.

However, the price is more expensive than the snacks that are already served.
